米国では、この2015年11月に出荷する準備ができているというから楽しみだ(日本での発売はいつだろう？)
このような高性能なVR装置が比較的安価に手に入るようになったのは画期的なことだ。ここで紹介するビデオは、GearVRで建設予定のフロアを見渡すように体験できることを示している。ARでは自然に表現できないことでも、このようなVR技術と3DCG映像を組み合わせることにより、まるで完成したフロアから外を見渡すことも可能になる。建築や旅行、医療などで今度どんどん普及するであろう。
